Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und können die Unterkunft definitiv weiterempfehlen. Alles war sauber und genauso eingerichtet, wie auf den Fotos zu sehen. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet – es war alles vorhanden, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt, auch zum Kochen. Die Betten waren bequem und wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohlgefühlt. Lediglich die Anleitung zur Müllentsorgung am Abreisetag war leider nicht mehr aktuell, und auf unsere Nachfrage haben wir keine Rückmeldung erhalten. Das Öffnen der Fenster war durch die Jalousien etwas eingeschränkt. Insgesamt war es eine schöne Unterkunft und der Aufstieg in den vierten Stock sorgte gleich noch für ein kleines tägliches Sportprogramm. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt!

We stayed at Tobias' beautiful flat for 3 nights and felt very much at home there. Everything you need is easily accessible, the bus stop is right outside the building, but it also only is a 25 min walk into the city centre. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly come back.

Great up and coming area of Edinburgh with good access to the New Town. It is a top floor flat which takes some effort but it is worth it for the views and the light and it is super spacious.

The apartment was in a really good location with a ten minute walk into the centre. Was very clean on arrival and as described on line. Only complaint was the shower was vey awkward with the taps and the shower screen due to the way it was set up but can understand limited for space. We did have a problem with where to leave the rubbish on leaving as information was out of date. I messaged Tobias but didn't hear back so had to leave in the apartment.

I had a wonderful stay. The house is well equipped and comfortable, and there’re a lot of facilities nearby - which make this apartment a great stay. It is also located in a quite, safe neighborhood, just a 10 mins by walk away from Stockbridge. If I were to come back to Edinburgh, I would definitely choose this apartment again!

A great base for a visit to Edinburgh with my daughter. The apartment was clean and comfortable, warm and cosy. There are four flights of stairs to it but that didn’t bother us in fact it helped us work off some of the lovely food we’d eaten. Edinburgh is a great city to visit we will be back

The flat is very nice — two bedrooms (one a bit smaller) and a cozy kitchen/living area where we enjoyed spending time together. It’s on the fourth floor without an elevator, but the climb is worth it for the lovely city view. The location is excellent, with a large Tesco just across the road, which made shopping very convenient. We did experience some issues with the heating during the first few days, so the apartment was a bit chilly at times. Once it was sorted, everything was much more comfortable, but it did take away slightly from our stay. Nevertheless, it’s a lovely flat, and I would recommend it as a great option for up to four people visiting Edinburgh.

Beautiful place, super great location as in walking distance to all the lovely bits of Edinburgh, and feels even bigger than the photos. We absolutely loved our stay and felt right at home!

We loved the views of the castle and city from Toby’s light-filled flat. Toby provides an accurate description of his flat and is a great communicator. With Toby’s clear instructions we figured out heating, using the washing machine and heated towel rack. The four flights of stairs might be a struggle with big suitcases or if you’re tired after walking the hills of Edinburgh. The bathroom is a tight squeeze but towels were ample and fluffy. We also appreciated the basket of treats on our arrival.

Really enjoyed our stay at this place. The location was great, with nice cafe's locally and a short walk to both the town centre and to the botanical gardens. We stayed with a 1 year old and were very happy with it. Nice, spacious and clean with high ceilings. It is up quite a few stairs being on the 4th floor but with a very wide staircase so it wasn't stressful at all. Would stay again.

Awesome place for a stay in Edinburgh that is walkable to pretty much everything! The place itself was clean, well decorated, and had beautiful views, including the castle. The windows were my favorite 🙂 The host was communicative and proactive throughout the stay, and the welcome guide and snacks were particularly hospitable — made us feel right at home! I wish we could have stayed longer.

Toby est un hôte très réactif et à l’écoute de la moindre difficulté. Nous avons eu un léger soucis d’eau chaude qui n’était pas de sa faute et Toby a tout de suite pris le sujet et ça a été réglé le soir même. Le logement est bien situé avec un bon rapport qualité prix. Le seul bémol c’est au niveau du ménage sol légèrement sale sinon le logement est bien rangé et correspond parfaitement au descriptif

Toby's apartment was a great home base for our stay in Edinburgh. The stairs are a BEAR but we knew about them upfront. The apartment is on the fourth floor, and they're not normal flights of stairs but a large winding concrete staircase. Once at the top, the apartment does have a beautiful view of the castle from the living room window. The kitchen was stocked with some nice little treats for us and Toby provided a handy welcome guide. The master king bedroom was large, and the bed was low but very comfortable (and that's coming from a light sleeper). Walkable to many locations and cheap Ubers to everywhere else. All in all a nice, clean, spacious apartment in a more or less central location.

Wir hatten ein schönes Wochenende zu viert in der Wohnung. Die Wohnung hatte eigentlich alles was man so braucht. Tesco (Supermarkt) war 2 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und so konnte man sich wunderbar selbst versorgen.

We had great time here --- the place is beautiful as it is. We're lucky enough to get beautiful sunset from the window first day we arrived, just like in the painting to see it through the window with Edinburgh town as a background. Easy access to the city, either walk or by bus. There's so many good things around. Great that we got local recommendation where to eat and drink, and walk, and not necessary always in a tourist area -- which I like, because recommendation like this matter and always good. Will not look other place when we're back!

Lovely apartment with lots of amenities. Easy access to the bus system (e.g. to the city centre) but also easily walkable. Nice area to have a little stroll, and lots of bakeries/cafes around! The apartment itself is on the 5th floor I believe, and there is no elevator available. Be aware this is a little bit of a climb with bigger luggage! The apartment was very cosy and clean, with enough storage space and a nicely equipped kitchen (e.g. lots of spices, tea bags, coffee!). I would definitely recommend for a weekend of exploring Edinburgh!

Toby's place was great for us and our toddler. It was extremely clean and thoughtfully decorated. We also loved the location - it was literally within a stone's throw of a pub, a pizza joint, Tesco, multiple cafes, and a fantastic bottle shop (Beerhive). We had a great stay at Toby’s place. Bed was very comfy and the drying rack for laundry in the hall was awesome! Very nice location, 15 minute walk to most attractions. I will notate it’s on the 4th floor with no elevator so lots of steps, but very quiet building. We utilized the Tesco grocery mart actress the street and recommend O’Conners for food and drinks across the street great service. Would definitely stay here again.

Schöne kleine Wohnung. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und den tollen Ausblick genossen. Einzig das Bad ist ziemlich klein und eng. Und das Haus liegt an einer großen Kreuzung. Mit offenen Fenster schlafen ist nicht möglich. Dafür gibt es direkt vor der Haustür super Möglichkeiten zum Frühstücken und Abendessen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Great place to stay to visit and explore Edinburgh, ideal for the fringe as close enough to be able to get to everything easily but also a nice peaceful place to go back to at the end of the day. We found it super easy to get to the city, a short journey on the bus which stops very close by.

Tobys Unterkunft gehörte zu den wohl schönsten airbnb Unterkünften, in denen wir je waren. Sauber, sehr gemütlich und schön eingerichtet, entsprach absolut den Bildern des Inserats. Toby's place was in a very good location, near bus stop and supermarkets as well as the beautiful Botanic Gardens. The apartment was clean and the beds were comfy. There was an issue with the shower clasp meaning we had to sit in the bath to shower, which didn't get sorted during our week long stay. This did impact our stay but the management company were very communicative and accomodating for a later check out, which was good. Overall the place was very comfy. I would note that the table and rug in the living room photos are not those in the living room when we stayed and there were no plants/books on the bookshelves as in the photo. These are small things though and overall a good stay is to be had at this place.

Just spent 3 nights in Edinburgh, the accommodation was lovely and just like the photos show. Everything was exceptionally clean. Beds were comfy and apartment was warm and cozy. Location was great , about a 20 min walk into city centre ,you can also order Ubers very easily and cheaply if the walk is to much, communication was great between the host, any questions answered right away. Very pleasant stay indeed !

We found Toby’s place very suitable to us. It is a good 15 minute walk to the Old Town but there are regular buses if you do not feel like walking. Please note that the flat is on the top floor, so, you need to climb 4 flights of stairs so not probably suitable for people travelling with large suitcases. The bathroom was also a bit cramped. There were workers on the first day we arrived so the main door was left opened and also smells of paint. But, this was only on our first day. Overall, the place was good and good coffee shop, Hata downstairs and a pub across the road with friendly staff. I would recommend Toby’s place.

Great place to stay. Really convenient for New Town & Stockbridge and not far from Waverly with good bus links. Hate coffee a great place at the bottom of the close and a big Tesco less than five min away for everything you need. Place as appeared in the pictures (phew!) and really comfortable space with everything you need. Nice touch with biscuits/snacks and lovely bright space with view of Edinburgh Castle (if that's your thing). The flat is at the top of four flights of stairs, so be warned. The bathroom was also slightly cramped. Really easy to get in and out and I had no contact with hosts, although didn't really need to as was all quite self sufficient. An easy trip with no hassles.
