Lovely little cabin
Had an amazing time at this place! Didn’t feel like leaving so soon… it’s got everything you’ll ever need for a trip to Lake District! Locality is great and convenient and everything was just a short drive away. Host was responsive and proactive and the property was exactly what the images showed even better I might add! She also had kept some games around quite handy for a friend’s group stay like ours!

The lodge is lovely, clean and well set out. Finding the lodge on the site was tricky especially when in the dark. The location is generally great though, very close to the lakes and the area is beautiful. The restaurant and leisure centre were decent, although using the pool cost £12 as only option was to get a day pass. Checking in was our main issue as I was contacted by the cleaner advising that the lodge would not be ready for a couple of hours after check-in. This was frustrating and added stress to the start of our trip, especially with a toddler. Other than this we had a good stay and I would recommend the lodge itself. I assume we were unlucky with check-in. I did ask for some compensation but did not hear back about this. Stressful start, but otherwise a lovely place to stay.
This cabin is perfect! we only stayed 2 nights and it was perfect with nothing missing. Only 15 mins from Lancaster with many things to do! We will be back next year!
Very comfortable lodge, bigger than what I expected! The beds were actually very comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, no issues at all! Highly recommended.
I stayed with my husband and two children. The lodge was extremely well set up with plenty of space, towels and kitchen equipment, it felt like a home away from home. The children settled really quickly, the holiday park itself is very spacious, peaceful with an AMAZING restaurant on site. We had lunch there on the Saturday and the food was delicious, bit of a hidden gem. We would certainly return again. Thank you :)

Great place to stay, clean and cosy.
This was my first time using Airbnb, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I stayed with my family, and from the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The place was spotless, warm, and beautifully prepared even better than the photos. Veronica is a truly wonderful host. She was kind, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. You can feel how much care she puts into every detail. As a first Airbnb experience, this stay set the bar very high. My whole family loved it, and we’d absolutely love to return. Highly recommended!
Lovely lodge with so much space! Even the twin rooms were very spacious and the beds were a great size. Kitchen layout was great as everyone spent lots of time together, nice to walk around the lodges with 3 lakes nearby. Was easy to get to other areas like Windermere etc. Only thing to note (and definitely not a downside for us) is that it was unclear on whether we could use the pool for free or not. There was a notice about charges to use the leisure centre which seemed a bit pricey, even tho the listing says pool access, so we avoided it. However we had a great time, lovely and quiet and a great place to say!
Lovely Cabin and park area . Just not able to walk around the lake and also out of park straight onto dual carriageway so do need a car . We had a great stay and travelled out to the lakes all close by

We had a wonderful weekend! It was a lovely way to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary. The amenities in the lodge were amazing! The lodge itself is absolutely beautiful and very spacious! The beds were really comfortable and we were provided with bath towels and also towels for the leisure centre (although we didn’t use the on site facilities). The fishing nearby is great and my son had a full day out fishing at the nearby Clear Water Fisheries. There are also a couple of lakes on site if you fancied a quick cast out. It was easy to nip to the shops if you ran out of anything as there are supermarkets 5 minutes down the road. All in all, it was a wonderful stay and we all said that it wasn’t long enough of a stay! Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home!

We had a wonderful stay at Veronica’s place. Couldn’t fault it one bit. Was much bigger than we expected. Everything you need to cook and the bedrooms were very comfortable. Lots of board games and card games to play too. Would definitely recommend!
