Parking:
- Parking is available for small to medium sized cars ONLY. Space 7 in the Elbow Lane carpark is located 30m from the apartment front door. Long wheel base vehicles and vans are specifically excluded by the carpark manager. For your own sake, park wholly within the allocated space. Management reserve the right to (and do) wheel clamp any oversized vehicles or vehicles that impede access to the carpark
or other user spaces. Hefty fines apply.
- Alternative parking is also available. The Brook Street car park ( PL19 OHD) offers undercover, all day, parking from 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays for a maximum of £5. Free on street parking is available outside the hours listed above. Carparks within 400m of the apartment offering 24hr parking are: Bedford (PL19 0EA) has a charge of £5 per day, is free overnight and has 4 electric vehicle charging stations. Riverside (PL19 9AZ) is £3 per day and also has free parking overnight.
Very well situated flat in centre of Tavistock. Warm and quiet with lovely comfortable beds ! Easy check in and out from helpful host. Perfect for anyone visiting the town and surrounding area. Parking space a bonus. Very happy with our choice.
The apartment was beautiful - much bigger than expected, very clean and tidy, perfect location, beds were SO comfortable - just great! Would defo recommend :-)
The flat itself was perfect for our stay, only gripe was the difficulty in opening the front door - the key would not fully engage. A replacement key did eventually arrive, but we had a long, cold wait. If the key issue can be resolved, we would 100% do a return visit and recommend staying here. It is ideal for wandering the streets and bars of beautiful Tavistock, and would not need to move the car. That said we were offered compensation for the inconvenience, and communication was good and responsive.
We couldn’t fault anything except we did have a problem with the apartment front door. I contacted Veronica who in turn gave me details of who to contact. I had a prompt response and the lock was looked at the next day. It was temporary fixed but did the same thing again. Besides the lock, the apartment was perfect, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated and ideally located just off the Main Street and with its own parking space. Highly recommended!
We would totally recommend this apartment . Extremely close to amenities in Tavistock , all shops , bars and restaurants are in easy walking distance . A very comfortable and clean apartment. Everything we needed was provided. Great communication by Veronica.
Great location and very convenient flat. We did have issues with the door lock - we did report it but we couldn’t easily unlock the door which was frustrating. It took several minutes to get in on occasion. We also felt one key between two couples was insufficient - we were advised to share it by using the lockbox in the locked utility room two floors down which was hardly convenient. Other than these small niggle it was a great place

Great apartment in a purpose built block with lift which is always a godsend at our age. The flat is very clean, comfortable, spacious and well appointed. We come to Tavistock a lot to visit our relatives so we will and have recommended Veronica’s place to our family and friends.

This was our second time staying in this very comfortable and spacious flat in the middle of lovely Tavistock. We found it as good as the first time. It's nice to have 2 bathrooms, both modern, and the beds are comfortable with nice linen. The sofa bed was fine too. The kitchen is well equipped. It was lovely and warm during very cold weather. We would rent it again.
