Great location, really tidy apartment and great communication from host
Tobias’s place is in a fantastic location and the unit itself is excellent—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Communication was fast and helpful from the start. The building can be a bit tricky to find, but Tobias had someone waiting to greet me and they even arrived earlier than I requested, which I really appreciated. When I had trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi, Tobias jumped in right away to help and quickly got it sorted. The only thing to clarify up front is checkout: I initially hoped for a late checkout but learned the day before that the standard 11 a.m. time had to be kept because new guests were arriving. He explained this clearly and it made sense. My only minor suggestion for improvement—hardly worth mentioning compared to all the positives—is that the kettle could use a deeper clean. Otherwise, an outstanding stay and I’d happily book again.
The location was great, easy access to the rest of the city. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated and it was great to have two bathrooms for 4 people. It can be a little loud of night but we brought earplugs so it was fine. We found checkin to be frustrating - we had to pick the time two weeks in advance. We requested a half hour time frame to have flexibility after a day of sightseeing, but the host scheduled a specific time that had no flexibility. We had to cut plans short due to this, as not even 15 extra minutes could be allowed to us within the original time frame we requested. The bathrooms were pretty but we also found neither shower head to be working properly. Overall a convenient, spacious and clean apartment but these things did affect the stay.
Great central flat for a weekend trip to London, the apartment was clean and matched the description / pictures exactly, perfectly located as well!
Back from a 3 night stay in this stunning apartment. It was as beautiful as the photos and even though it was really hot in London the positioning of the Apartment allows it to stay nice and cool. The beds were very comfortable and the place was spotless. It’s also a surprisingly big apartment for London. Kitchen had everything you need and great to have a smart TV. The apartment was a 10 minute walk from Old Town tube and then just two stops to Kings Cross so it’s a great location for exploring London. Finally Tobias was a great host. Kept in contact from booking to arrival and checking in while we were there to make sure we had everything we needed which was a lovely touch. Highly recommended and when we come back to London we will definitely be looking to stop here again.

Our family of four really enjoyed our stay at Tobias' bright and spacious apartment! The location was ideal; removed from the touristy bustle of central London with easy and quick transit options to get to the famous sights. The neighborhood has a lot to remcommend it: lively, great restaurants, walkable. I loved the Museum of the Home across from the Hoxton Overground station, Columbia Road Flower Market and Shoreditch High Street Area. The apartment itself was clean, well-decorated. and well-priced. It was nice to have two large bedrooms and bathrooms, not easy to find in London rentals. For people planning to share beds: on the listing, it says both beds are kings. In the description, it says one is a super king a king. FYI British bed sizes are different than American ones. The bed in the en suite bedroom (super king) is roughly an American king, but the bed in the other bedroom (king) is closer to an American double/queen. Not a big deal, but useful to know.
Enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable and spacious, lots of light. Easy to travel in and out of London.
Le logement de Tobias est bien situé, à 10 minutes de marche de Brick Lane, et des métros. Nombreux bus à proximité. Enfin, le logement est conforme à la description et suffisamment spacieux pour une famille avec 2 enfants. Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine. Logement à recommander !
Top appartement! Voor Londonse begrippen veel waar voor je geld. In een leuke buurt, met bus stops voor de deur en tube op 15 minuten lopen.
We had a great time staying at Tobias’s place! It was very easy to check in. The area was relatively quiet at night. Easy to find and felt safe and secure. I would absolutely stay here again!
Fantastic apartment, beautifully decorated, and with a great shower too! Just a stones throw away from Hoxton station complete with a supermarket, health store and coffee shops on the doorstep.

Great location for bus and overland trains. Tube on a short walk or couple of bus stops. Lots of restaurants bars etc close by
Toby's apartment is in a very avant-garde area of London. The very efficient public transport system takes you to any part of London with extreme ease. I recommend getting around by bus. Surface transport allows you to get to know the city better. The house is spacious and very welcoming.
Toby’s place was great! Very clean and had all the amenities we needed. We had trouble communicating with him during the check in process so it did take awhile to get into the apartment.
Our group of 3 wanted a place closer to the city and normal tourist sites, and this place fits the bill! There’s lots of great restaurants, pubs, and public transit nearby. Toby was wonderful and let us come and drop bags a few hours before proper check-in. The apartment itself is wonderfully decorated. I was particularly in love with the art choices! My only note is that there’s no AC or fans for the London summer heatwaves, so we had to sleep with the windows open and pray for a breeze. It got quite warm, and I would recommend earplugs to drown out the city noises. We would love to stay again!
Absolutely wonderful five star experience with Toby and his place. There is often some concern that photos will not be reflective of the actual location, lenses will be used to make things look larger, etc., but the space was spacious, beautiful, and exactly as pictured -- an amazing value for the price that we paid. Toby was communicative, reaching out to determine when our flights landed and departed in order to offer us a flexible check-in/check-out, so there were no worries about lugging our luggage around the city. I would happily stay at this location again, the neighborhood was lovely, fun, and as 4 women traveling together, we all felt very safe. I would advise that there is some noise from the street at night, but it wasn't bothersome to any of us to keep us awake.
We absolutely loved staying here. The place is beautiful and spacious. We spent lots of time in the neighborhood with so many great restaurants and bars to explore, it's extremely walkable, and easy to get to other areas as well. Toby was extremely quick to respond and was very accommodating, especially when our flights arrived early and we asked to drop our stuff off before we went out exploring for the day. Overall, it was a great place to enjoy our first time in London and we would highly recommend.
We loved our stay! The home is beautiful and we definitely would love to stay again in future travels. The location is great and centered within minutes from the local hotspots and destinations. The home is located in a pretty private area as well, off from the main streets. Absolutely would love to stay longer next time. It was a great stay!
I stayed here with 3 of my friends for a long weekend in London, and the place was perfect for us. It was very clean, the perfect size for us, and convenient to buses and the tube, so we could easily get wherever we wanted to go. It was also in a really cute neighborhood that we all took the time to walk around and explore. While we never needed to cook food, we appreciated having the full kitchen so we could bring back leftovers. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all a really good size - perfect for 2 people in each one. The hosts were very responsive and so kind in giving us both an early check-in and a late check-out. We really appreciated how quickly they got back to us any time we had a question. I'd recommend this place and these hosts to anyone looking for a convenient place to stay that's slightly outside the city. We really enjoyed our time here!
This flat is absolutely beautiful! It was very clean with absolutely beautiful decor! It was a great location with very easy access to restaurants, cafes, pubs and public transportation! The beds were very comfortable and we loved the towel warmers and beautiful bathrooms! There was access to a washer/dryer, iron, etc, everything was perfect!
הדירה עצמה הייתה פשוט מושלמת! מתאימה בעיקר לצעירים, או מי שמוצא עניין בשכונת שורדיץ׳ האופנתית - כשבמרחק הליכה מהדירה אפשר למצוא מסעדות, ברים ובתי קפה מהממים. כמה דקות מתחנת הוקסטון. הדירה הייתה מרווחת ומעוצבת, בדיוק כמו בתמונות, ויכולה בקלות להתאים ל4 אורחים. הכל היה נקי ומזמין. הבעיה היחידה שלנו הייתה עם הצ׳ק אין - בגלל עיכוב בטיסה, סופיה (שעובדת עם טובי) לא הספיקה לפגוש אותנו, והחביאה לנו את המפתח מתחת לפחים ציבוריים ובלי שום הוראות. לא ידענו איך לפתוח את דלת הבנין, להפעיל את דוד המים או מה לעשות במידה וגלאי העשן מצפצף (מה שקרה מספר פעמים בעקבות האדים מהמקלחת). טובי היה זמין יחסית להדריך מרחוק אבל עדיין הסתבכנו. אולי אפשר היה להוסיף פח בחדרי הרחצה. חוץ מזה השהות הייתה מושלמת, בהחלט היינו ממליצים על הנכס ומחכים לחזור להתארח בו.

Toby’s place is clean and exactly as pictured, and had all the amenities one would need for a comfortable stay. We were also glad to be able to check-in early at 1pm as our flight landed at 11am. There is a cafe and grocery store right across the street which we found convenient. 1 out of the 4 nights we stayed, there was loud music playing until 1am and the tube is a bit far (~15 mins walk), however I would still recommend Toby’s place and would return.
The perfect location for walking all over Shoreditch. There is even an amazing little grocery store across the street with lots of organic fruits and veg. So many great cafe’s and Vintage shops near by. The apartment is very cute with a well stocked kitchen and a cozy couch to lounge in. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
This was a great place to hang out for a few days and get right into the middle of things in London. Very comfortable, everything you needed and we felt right at home
We had an amazing time here. The neighborhood is absolutely incredible. Lots to do, lots of amazing restaurants, etc. and all very walkable. The apartment itself was even nicer than we thought. Plenty of space. A great kitchen if you want to cook. Very spacious bedrooms and nice bathrooms. Very good value. If you’re visiting London and wanna be in the cool neighborhood and want a comfortable place look no further.

We had a great stay at Tony’s in this trendy area of Shoreditch. The apartment was brand new and beautifully decorated. The are had so many fun restaurants and bars. It was great to be out of city center and experience this area.

We had a great stay in Tobias’ place. Spacious, clean, modern, central and had all the amenities that you’d hope for. Photos don’t do it justice in terms of the footprint. Quiet location, especially on weekends.
