We had a wonderful stay in Veronica’s apartment! Incredible views, close to the Harbor Arm and Old High Street, and very comfortable!
The place is lovely and clean. It’s right beside the beach and very close to the harbour, the harbour inn and creative quarter. The flat is up several flight of stairs but it’s quiet and homely. The view is very special. We had trouble with the heating - which could have been solved quicker. We were left cold and because it’s not someone’s actual home and it’s run by a business (500 other properties on Airbnb) we felt like the service wasn’t as helpful as it could be. They did give us a late check out as compensation, which we do appreciate. Overall it’s a lovely place and worth going to but just know it’s a large organisation with lots of moving parts.
We verbleven 3 nachten met 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen (8 en 9 jaar). + heel mooie accommodatie, mooi ingericht en veel lichtinval + prachtig uitzicht + ruim + vlotte check-in + voldoende parkeerplaats in de buurt + leuke en gezellige omgeving, veel te doen - vaatwasser draait, gebruikt product, maar alles wat er uitkomt is nog vuil. Dus deden we de afwas gewoon met de hand. Geen ramp, wel tijdverspilling. - kraan van bad/douche is compleet onbetrouwbaar > koud/warm, verandert constant > opgelet met kinderen - keuken is beperkt uitgerust > extra glazen, borden, bestek, een deftige braadpan en ontbijtkommen zouden handig zijn Zeker en vast een aanrader om te verblijven.
Ruim en net appartement voor een verblijf met vriendinnen. Goede uitvalsbasis voor een tripje naar Londen, Canterbury en wandelingen langs krijtrotsen.
Lovely apartment with super seafront location and great views ! Very happy with the apartment as great location for the seafront / harbour and not far up the old high street into town. We enjoyed the restaurants in the harbour and the walks along the seafront!
Our host Veronica was super friendly, helpful & responsive. The apartment itself was lovely and was much larger than the photos appeared. With beautiful views of the sea and super close to the harbour and everything else that you’d need. We Loved having the seagulls visit us every morning too and great to be able to open up the large sash windows to look out the open sea and a glimpse of France. Thanks Veronica we had a wonderful visit 😀

The location was great! My child especially enjoyed the ocean view every morning waking up. If you are the artsy type, you will appreciate Veronica’s selection of paintings. I found the WWI spy history in town fascinating - the building entry way is with illustration and some display of the old tools which is also very interesting.
Beautiful location and wonderful views! Folkestone is totally worth the visit, and Veronica’s place is where you want to be!
Absolutely lovely flat! Gorgeous and spacious, homely without being cluttered! Kitchen well stocked, communicative and friendly host and Folkestone really is a gem of a place, especially the creative quarter!
Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet an traumhafter Lage. Ein paar Tagen nach dem Städtetrip in London konnten wir uns hier sehr erholen. Super mit ÖV erreichbar (50 Min mit dem Zug von London)

Such a stunning place, where the kids felt right at home! A beautiful view, with a super stylish decor. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent communication from the host. Perfectly positioned, within walking distance to the sea front, harbour arm and cultural quarter. Would highly recommend.
Wunderschönes Apartment in toller Lage und fantastischem Ausblick. Liebevoll eingerichtet, schöne Bilder an den Wänden und gemütliche Abendbeleuchtung. Die Betten sind bequem und die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Haus ist ruhig und gepflegt. Parkplätze sind drumherum vorhanden und kosten leider etwas. Nette Bars und Restaurants sind sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
Beautiful flat is a lovely location right on the beach, such a great stop to use as a base to explore Folkestone.
Lovely clean flat with a lovely view. Would like to have been pre warned about the 4 flights of stairs to the flat! But once in was very comfortable and suitable for our needs.

Exactly as expected. So nice to come back to after sightseeing. Loved rising to ocean view. Veronica is very quick to respond. I definitely recommend this place. There are a couple flight of stairs that were fine for us, but might be consideration if one has physical disability. Bright and relaxing place to stay. Comfy beds. Nice linens and towels. We slept well. Food places near by. Easy parking too. Dover 20 mins, Canterbury 30 mins. Loved it!

In a wonderful location with a fab view across the beach to the sea and France on the horizon. Easy to walk to Harbour Arm, the Creative Quarter and the beach's boardwalk. Property spacious and very comfortable. All good!

Beautiful place that’s very close to everything that there is to do in Folkestone, especially the beach. Ample amenities provided, including a little folder of recommendations and maps. Perfect for a little weekend getaway. Would definitely visit again.
had a great stay in Veronica's flat- the sun shone and the views were exquisite- day and night. It was very comfortable, clean and plenty of space for 3 of us and my three year old grandson. The harbour very lively if you want entertainment and we had excellent food in the restaurants. Would revisit

Enjoyed our stay. Veronica's flat was comfortable and clean. The view of the sea was appreciated. We were glad we took our own duvet, sheets and pillows for the sofa bed because we could only find a couple of blankets. Slept pretty well on the sofa bed in the lounge for the two nights of our stay. The kids said the bedrooms were good too. Would book again. Thanks.

Lovely apartment which suits a family well. Clean, spacious and comfortable. It is 2nd floor so there are a fair few steps to navigate though for those with luggage or small children but once inside, it was a really lovely stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Veronica's apartment. The apartment is super cosy and well equipped and the views of the sea (and sometimes France) are incredible. Everything was super clean and the space was perfect for the three of us. It's easy to get to Folkestone from London and it's a 20 minute walk from the station or a £5 taxi ride. And Folkestone itself was really lovely with nice little shops and the seafront. The apartment is also perfect for relaxing evenings on the sofa. All in all we would 100% recommend staying at Veronicas and Folkestone itself.
Nice stay next to the sea with beautiful views. The flat is warm and welcoming, just a bit noisy (from street) in the double bedroom. A nice place to explore Folkestone from!
