Sehr authentisch, gemütlich und toll gelegen. Unkompliziert und für uns eine gute Wahl gewesen. Der Esstisch lässt sich vergrößern, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und das Bad recht neu. Die Heizung schafft es auch bei Kälte, die Zimmer angenehm warm zu halten. Nur im Wohnzimmer merkt man die Einfachverglasung. Dafür gibt es hier einen schönen Ausblick. Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Haustür
I had a lovely stay in Whitstable. The flat was very close to the Castle, where there was an event being held so I needed to be close. The flat was comfortable and well-equipped.
The apartment was clean and cozy, in a very convenient location. Veronica was extremely helpful, providing clear instructions on how to get to the apartment and plenty of useful information. We had an absolutely fantastic stay, the apartment has everything you might need, so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
This was the perfect spot for my Mum and I to stay for our first time in Whitstable. Easily walkable to the High Street of town, to the harbour, beach or along to Tankerton. Really easy check-in instructions, and super helpful information about where the best places to park are. Would happily stay again, thanks very much for having us!
Great location opposite Whitstable Harbour, beach and sauna, with a short walk into town and bus stop to Canterbury right outside. The apartment was very reasonably priced, and the beds were very comfortable. A good base for us to walk and explore. We had a lovely few days!
We enjoyed a great short break here. Very comfortable and excellent location for town centre and other local attractions. About a 10 minute easy walk from the railway station. Bus stop immediately outside if you wish to use to get to locations further afield. We made full use of the local seafood restaurants but if you wish to cook your own meals the compact kitchen is well equipped.
Wir haben uns im Pilgrim‘s Lookout sehr wohl gefühlt, es war alles da, was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Lage der Wohnung ist super, alles ist zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Veronica war ein super Gastgeberin und hat immer sofort auf unsere Nachrichten und Fragen geantwortet. Wir können die Wohnung gerne weiterempfehlen.
The instructions we received were very clear, the accommodation was clean and comfortable
We had a very comfortable stay , accurate listing including parking arrangements and being a first floor flat there were quite a few stairs Beds v comfortable , fresh linen & towels V adequate kitchen equipment , some food spares in cupboard left from previous renters . Cleaning items if needed , wash up liquid, spare toilet rolls and hand soap host checked in during stay to see if all ok - I did suggest a couple of things and was well received . Very close to beach and short walk to the harbour and high street Although warned there was no parking with the flat you need to check all the car park charges to see which suits you (4 close car parks) - we used RingGo app which pointed us to the car parks and their day and overnight charges or whether they were free We had a blue badge and parked in the restricted parking on the road outside flat and didn't get a parking ticket - but don't rely on that Mon - Fri 8-6-30 parking limited to 20mins Would definitely book flat again

We recently spent 3 nights at Pilgrims Lookout in Whitstable. The view on opening the front door was not very inviting, due to the condition of the communal hallway. However, the flat itself, which is on the first floor, was perfectly fine. It was nicely decorated, clean and homely with comfortable beds. The kitchen had everything we needed as we didn’t do much cooking while we were staying there. The apartment is in a convenient location, close to Whitstable train station and with a bus stop right outside. Whitstable harbour and the Harbour Market are within easy walking distance. The only problem we had was opening the lockbox to obtain the keys and then to put them back in. We contacted the host Veronica before our departure, who advised us what to do with the keys and the rubbish as we didn’t know where the outside bin was located. Nevertheless, we did enjoy our stay in Whitstable.
Great location, walkable to town and to the beach. Flat a bit tired, but pleasant enough. No parking close by, and lots of steps to the flat made things a bit difficult with young children, but these are noted on the listing, so not a complaint.
A great flat in a fantastic location. Flat was clean and fresh and had everything we needed. Easy walk into town and almost across the road from the harbour. 5 mins walk to the beach too. We found it easy to park on local roads as there were no restrictions. Would definitely recommend.
Great location for exploring Whitstable harbour and market. Accommodation provides everything necessary for a short break.
Great location and space. Flat and towels felt a little tired and musty for the price but it was perfectly suitable for 2 nights. We didn't use it but the kitchen seemed fairly well equipped. The living room felt cosy and there was a nice smelling diffuser in the room. You're on a main road next to a bus stop so it can be a bit noisy, but the bedrooms are at the back of the flat so the noise doesn't travel. We visited during the summer holidays so I imagine more people were out on the weeknights than other times of the year. We found the twin bedroom to be a bit overlooked by the neighbours - worth keeping the curtains closed when changing! Very short walk to the main high street, station and beach. The instructions stated we should dispose of rubbish in the communal bin, but we were unable to open this so had to put our rubbish in a public bin. Considering the cleaning fee it would be nice if this was more accessible / the housekeeping team sorted this.

Wonderful location for a weekend in Whitstable - close to the high street, harbour and beach. The flat itself is good - it was easy to find and linen/kitchen were all clean. It could do with some tlc and some parts (windowsils and floors etc) could have done with a more thorough clean. The bathroom also had a noticable smell. We only found the cot requested after a search under the beds, and it was covered in dust. The rubbish was also requested to be taken with us at the end, which was a bit unhelpful as we came on the train.
Veronica's place was lovely, in an extremely good location close to the harbour. As a host she was very communicative and on hand to answer any questions. I would highly recommend.
Veronica’s place is exactly like the photos - the decor could do with a small refresh but everything including the beds, bathroom and kitchen were spotlessly clean. Beds were very comfy and the twin room was perfect for our 4 year old. Whilst the apartment is on the main road, the bedrooms are both at the back and very quiet. Location wise; you are literally yards away from the quay with all the stalls, so this was great! It’s only 5 mins into the town, so really well situated. Would recommend - very worth it. A good stay, well located just 5 mins from a great playground at Whitstable castle for my daughter, and easy walks to the sea and town. The bathroom smelt pretty stagnant and the furniture in the flat felt a bit tired. Beds were comfortable, fresh smelling linen etc and we loved our little slither of sea that we could see whilst eating our breakfast or washing up :)

Return visit with a friend. This is a perfect base with Whitstable, Tankerton and the seafront in easy walking distance. Good bus and train connections for further afield, Canterbury 20-30 mins by bus. Comfortable and good value. The single beds are small but I’m tall and slept fine. Recommended

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the lookout in the last couple of years and we love it! Such a fab price and great location, you can see the sea from the living room window and it’s so easy to walk to the beach, harbour, markets and town! We adore whitstable and this was a fab find for somewhere local to stay!

We enjoyed a lovely few days at Veronica flat. The location is great, just over 5 minute walk into the harbour where there is lovely restaurants, pubs and coffee houses. We recommend visiting the sea salt sauna on the harbour and watch the sunset if your lucky enough. Would definitely recommended

This flat is handily located with the beach, Whitstable and Tankerton all within easy reach. Inside there’s everything you need for a pleasant and comfortable stay.
This is the second time we’ve stayed here. It’s perfect for a few us to come together every year or so and spend a lovely weekend in Whitstable.
All good apart from a couple of niggles. The smell from the bathroom - not unbearable but certainly unpleasant. Needs some Mr Muscle pipe cleaner! Kitchen window doesn't appear to close properly which looks like it would be easy to break into from the outside - wouldn't be an issue if the scaffolding wasn't outside making it easy access. Locations great, space good, facilities good. Good comms from host. Would recommend.
Place was ideal, v clean and comfortable. A few minor “electrics” issues (kettle and toaster not on a sane time, lamoscttipped out) meant not 5 stars but we were very happy with the booking.

my stepdad stayed at Veronicas for 5 weeks while his place was being renovated. He felt very comfortable and right at home. He had all the amenities he required. On the cold nights he said the heating was toasty.. and the living room was nice and comfortable. He slept well in the large bedroom at the back of the property. Lovely and clean and nicely decorated apartment. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thanks again.
