It is about five minutes walk from the beautiful Ironmills Park, and a short drive from Dalkeith Country Park – which houses the fantastic Fort Douglas kids play area as well as beautiful forest walks.
Has own parking bay at door, and great public transport links. Ground floor apartment (2 steps to front door). It is two minutes drive to local supermarkets and restaurants.
Main bedroom has king bed for up to 2 adults.
Second bedroom has a bunk bed suitable for up to 2 children only.

Well equipped and comfortable flat in Dalkeith, just outside Edinburgh, in a green and quiet area. Easy self check-in and good communication with the host. Recommended for families with 2 kids like ourselves.

Lovely stay. Place had all the basics and the area and town was lovely. I went for 3 runs around the palace grounds near by). No extras provided (no coffee pods or paper towels or laundry pods or shampoo/conditioner) so make sure to bring your own.
Flat was ideal for our stay - parking on site and walkable to shops. Bus links to Edinburgh near by if you want to visit the city
A very comfortable and lovely home!
Very clean, very warm. Just a 5minute drive or 30minute walk to Melville Castle. The neighbourhood is very peaceful and private, with friendly neighbours.
Lovely residence and a very responsive host but a bit of hassle to find a taxi in the area.
La casa, por dentro, es un poco antigua ( menos el baño que está totalmente reformado) pero tiene todo lo necesario para vivir en ella. Una habitacion con una cama de 1,35 muy comoda y otra habitación con dos literas. la cocina es pequeña pero tiene todo lo necesario. La zona es muy tranquila y tiene restaurantes/supers a los que puedes ir andando. Los vecinos son muy majos. Hay buses que te llevan a Edimburgo pero nosotros optamos por Uber. Los primeros días tuvimos problemas para encontrar Uber que nos recogiera en casa. Al parecer, no trabajan mucho por esa zona. Conocimos a un taxista que nos dios su número peronal y nos llevó al centro cada vez que lo necesitabamos. En resumen, zona tranquila, casa práctica y con todas las facilidades.
We were only in the apartment for 2 nights and were in Edinburgh for most of the day, but we would recommend this as a base for exploring Edinburgh and the Lothians. There was no problem parking at the apartment and we used the train to get to Edinburgh, leaving our car at Eskbank station car park for free, which is very close to Dalkeith. There are buses too. There are good supermarkets in Dalkeith and plenty of places to eat and drink. A lovely peaceful area and a comfy place to live in; home from home. I particularly loved the shower ? The host contacted us to check everything was ok while we were there and sent us all the information we needed, before we arrived. A well deserved 5 stars from us.

Fantastic 2 bedroom flat, not far from the high street. Close to lots of shops, bars and facilities. Well equipped kitchen. Amazing bath size shower cubicle. Great range of TV programmes on the free view. Very comfy bed! Slept so well. Will definitely use again when we visit the local family.

I stayed here with my 2 children for a couple of nights and had a great time. Very accessible from the main road and really handy to be able to park the car outside.

İlk airbnb deneyimimizin bu şekilde sonuçlanmasından memnunum. Ev konum olarak Edinburgh merkeze 20 dk. olabilir ancak hem kasaba hem de yol çok huzurlu ve eğlenceliydi. Evde herşey kusursuza yakındı. Yataklar ve mobilyalar son derece konforlu ve temizdi. Mutfak son derece keyifli ve kullanışlıydı. Veronicanın tüm konaklama boyunca hızlı ve faydalı cevaplar sunması bizi daha da güvende hissettirdi.? Evin fotoğraflarda göründüğünden çok daha güzel olduğunu söylemeliyim. Veronicanın fotoğrafları tekrar gözden geçirmesini tavsiye ederim??
Perfectly clean, comfortable and spacious for a flat. It’s so close to Dalkeith and all the amenities. The flat is in a lovely quiet spot.
