Booked for parents who had a great stay in London and loved the area and the apartment.
Great location with easy access to the subway/underground. The neighborhood is quiet, and we felt safe walking home even late at night. There’s a grocery store nearby, along with convenience stores, coffee shops, and places to eat. The property is well kept and had plenty of space for four people. The main bed is a comfortable double size (taller guests may want to note this), and our Gen Z kids found the sofa bed very comfortable. The amenities made our stay more comfortable — we appreciated being able to eat our takeout at home and use the washer. There’s no dryer, but a drying rack is provided, which worked well for us. There’s also no dining table, but we didn’t mind eating at the coffee table. The host was responsive and helpful despite the time difference, and all instructions were clear and easy to follow. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend the place.

The apartment was kind of old and somewhat worn, but contained all the standard of equipment. The furniture in the bathroom clearly contained moisture, which had left traces on shelves, for example. The shower was also badly attached to the wall. The floor in the bedroom was broken. The list of stairs in the hall was broken and there came a nail that broke the socks. We would have liked a decent diningtable as well. Despite these flaws, we enjoyed ourselves in the end. The location was very good. Communication with the host went great and they were very flexible. A great alternative to budget travel!

This was an amazing little flat! It was in a great location for us. A short walk to the tube yet it was a very quiet neighborhood. We slept really well and felt right at home. We would definitely stay here again if we return to London. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your adorable flat, we absolutely loved it.

Tobias et ses collègues ont été réactifs à nos demandes. En particulier, ils ont été flexibles en ce qui concerne les horaires puisque nous avons pu entrer dans l’appartement plus tôt que prévu et le quitter plus tard que prévu. L’appartement est situé dans un quartier populaire où l’on trouve des commerces de nourriture sur le trajet menant à la station de métro. La rue est calme. Cependant, il convient de préciser certains points : - Nous n’étions que deux pour ce séjour, mais je ne vois vraiment pas comment l’appartement pourrait accueillir 4 adultes : table à manger très petite, canapé qui ne peut accueillir qu’une personne, absence de théière ou de cafetière pour 2 personnes ou plus. - Comme indiqué dans un autre commentaire, la salle de bains ne dispose pas d’un vrai lavabo mais d’une minuscule lave-mains, ce qui m’a contraint à me laver le visage… à la cuisine ! Malgré ces inconvénients, notre séjour a plutôt été agréable.
Very easy to deal with everyone, and it was a really comfortable stay.
This place has everything you need for a lovely and local stay. Clean little rooms and just enough space for us three. Sofa bed is comfortable! This is a local area and residents living nearby so sensitive ears can bring earplugs, though there where no loud noise. Very quick responses from the host and clear instructions! Would definately recommend, good balance between price and quality!
Miejsce było zgodne z opisem i tym co jest widoczne na zdjęciach. Komunikacja z gospodarzem przebiegała bez żadnych problemów. Dużym plusem miejsca jest lokalizacja, okolica wydaje się bezpieczna, a jednocześnie jest blisko do różnych lini metra. Uważam że to miejsce to dobry stosunek jakości do ceny
Ideal place to stay for a weekend in London. Peaceful neighbourhood a short walk from Notting Hill and Little Venice. Convenient bus and tube connections to the rest of london. We especially appreciated the proactive support with the check- in process.
We had a wonderful stay at this property! It is in a quiet area near Notting Hill. The street is adorable and feels very safe. We enjoyed walking around the area and felt very secure there. It was peaceful and the rooms were spacious and the couch bed was very comfortable. As others have mentioned, the sink is quite small, but it is no problem. Also note that you can hear doors closing in other units throughout the night. However, not a big deal, and the stay was wonderful overall. We had to book this place last minute, but it worked perfectly for our needs while in London. Thank you for a great stay!
Es sind leider nur 4 Sterne geworden, da die Unterkunft schief war. Der Boden unter dem Bett ist komplett abgesackt. Und die Nachbarn waren sehr laut in der Nacht, Tobias hat auch mit den direkten Nachbarn über der Unterkunft gesprochen und es war die Nacht darauf dann auch besser. Die Nachbarn im Haus nebenan haben Nachts lauthals gestritten. Sonst war alles super, die Anbindung an Bus und Bahn ist unschlagbar.
Nice place to stay overall, would recommend!
We enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and there are a few shops close by. The walks to the underground were not bad (10-15 mins) Easy to access central parts of London. Check in went smoothly. The host left us some goodies and flowers, which was a nice touch and much appreciated.
The stay and check in was smooth. I would have liked a fan just for the summers as it was a hot and stuffy indoors but I’m sure it’s comfortable during winters. The bedroom was clean and minimal and the living area was decent size. Overall the place is cute and cosy, perfect for couples.
We enjoyed our stay in this neighborhood, and appreciated the proximity to several high streets and several choices for Tube stops.
Very nice apartment in a nice area, where you feel "at home". Great coffee shop and fruit stores around the corner and close by feet to Union Canal and Notting Hill and excellent public transport.

Airbnb in einer ruhigen Wohngegend, relativ zentral gelegen. Gut eingerichtet, wenn man vorhat, die Wohnung nur zum Schlafen zu verwenden. Alles in allem ein gutes Airbnb.
Overall is a good choice just to sleep over for couples/groups that will spend the whole day outside as the size of the flat, specially the kitchen and the bathroom are quite small. The carpet is quite stained making it look older than what it is and there was a bit of a cigarette smell for the first day. Location is great and communication with host is very good.
This was a nice place to stay in London. The area is a bit off the beaten path, but has access to buses about a 5 min walk away, and train about 10-15 minutes. Was grateful for the accommodation to drop out bags off early. There was a slight issue with the toilet seat but we were not staying long enough for the need for an immediate fix, but Toby did acknowledge our message for an eventual fix.
We really enjoyed our stay at Toby’s place. The location is great and it’s easy and fast to get to the city centre. The neighbourhood is very quiet and there are small grocery stores and nice cafes just a few minutes walk. The accommodation was comfortable and very clean. The kitchen is well-equipped.
Nice flat and well-equipped in a safe and convenient location. Comfortable bed (and pull-out couch) and bedding, fluffy large towels, well-stocked kitchen. Toby was quick to respond to any questions. Maida Vale tube station is about a 15 minute walk down a main road so felt very safe, even at night. There are buses available about 2 minutes away in the neighborhood which has shops, restaurants, everything you need. Comfortable, accommodating flat which is a great base to explore surrounding neighborhoods and central London.
Great wee air b&b. Toby was a responsive host which was great. Was not too far from a tube station, and was a nice area. Place was mainly clean and had all the amenities one could need :)

We’ve had a wonderful stay at this flat. It’s quite easy to find and easy to reach both by underground and bus. The area is super quiet as well which is nice although it’s is actually not all too far outside of the center. There is a small Sainsbury close by and a costa within about a 5 minute foot walk and Notting Hill and other cafes about 10 minutes by foot. The place is absolutely clean and furnished nicely. My friend and I were only staying for a few days but if you’re in London for longer then it will certainly have the utensils and tools you may need. Toby was a great host and always available for questions. Overall it’s a place I would wholeheartedly recommend and would love to return to when I visit London again.

Der Checkin war früher möglich als geplant, was uns sehr entgegen gekommen ist. Ebenso der proaktiv angebotene frühere checkout. Die Wohnung ist toll, sowohl die Lage als auch die Ausstattung. Wir haben uns vom Start weg dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Auf Rückfragen wurde uns immer sehr schnell und freundlich geantwortet. A great place to stay, much better value that hotels in London . Perfect for me and my daughter to share for a few days in London without being under each other’s feet. Clean and comfortable and with in 10 minutes walk to the tube and around 25-30 minutes total journey to the city centre.
Je recommande ce logement pour des séjours professionnels et touristiques à Londres. J’y étais quelques jours dans le cadre d’un voyage d’affaire et j’ai eu accès à tout le confort nécessaire ( très bonne connexion wifi, transport en commun à proximité, espace bureau de travail) ! Victoria a été très réactive et a su répondre à toutes mes questions afin d’assurer que mon séjour se passe pour le mieux ! Il y a quelques épiceries à proximité, le marché Portobello à 20 minutes de marche… c’est très bien situé pour découvrir Londres dans un quartier dynamique.
We spent 3 nights here and it was a great base for our activities. Walkable distance to several tube stations as well as restaurants. We enjoyed trying out different places to eat as well as relaxing in the flat as well. We would definitely stay here again if we ever needed a base in London. If you are looking for somewhere to stay that will allow you to travel easily across London and like walking around the neighbourhood you are in then this is a great choice for you!
Toby a été une hôte disponible et réactive. Le bien était conforme à la description. La salle de bain est relativement étroite (très petit lavabo). Peu d’espace pour manger à table. L’appartement est correct pour 3 personnes. La literie est très confortable (y compris le canapé lit) et le linge de maison propre. L’emplacement est calme à environ 30 minutes en bus du centre ville. Malheureusement (et comme la plupart des maisons à Londres) le bien n’est pas équipé du double vitrage et nous entendons le bruit de la circulation. Cependant Aucune nuisance des voisins. Pour un court séjour à Londres le bien convient tout à fait.

el apartamento de Toby era cómodo y acogedor, pero como pasa con las fotos, te lo imaginas más amplio de lo que es en realidad. Está a 10 minutos andando del metro más cercano. A mitad de trayecto hay una plaza donde por la noche te puedes sentir algo inseguro, porque es punto de reunión de pandillas pero nada peligroso, no tuvimos ningún problema, una vez pasado ese punto el barrio es muy tranquilo. en el piso teníamos todas las facilidades, y no hubo ruidos de ningún vecino. El aseo limpio y buena ducha pero el lavabo, debido a la distribución que tiene, muy pequeño, no muy cómodo. El salón muy acogedor y la cocina completa y cómoda.
A nicely presented, spacious, clean and tidy flat around a 15mins walk to a few different tube stations in a quiet neighbourhood . Smooth check in. No problems at all.
