The first floor of the apartment has two bedrooms, one king size and one twin, both ensuite with a separate toilet/washroom.. Fresh linen and towels is also provided
There is a large fully equipped kitchen/diner and everything you could need should you wish to dine at home.
A separate utility room with washing machine, extra fridge/freezer and space for your dog should you have one.
The second floor of the apartment is a single large lounge and observation area. There is a TV and rest area, a casual sitting area and observation area with telescope. To ensure you can stay connected is super-fast WIFI throughout the apartment, Fresh linen and towels provided
Large sliding doors open onto the private balcony. This has some flexible outside seating and panoramic views along the Fish Market, out towards the Harbour Arm, across the harbour and out to sea.
Guest have access to the entire home during stay
Please note the apartment is in the heart of a working Fish market and tourist area, so expect a certain amount of “hustle and bustle” .

Such a fun, comfortable and spacious place to stay, in a unique location with fantastic views of the harbour. Very well equipped.
Very interesting two bedroom apartment in an active part of the Folkestone harbour, with fantastic views of the harbour with its fishing boats and the English channel in the distance. The apartment itself is situated above a famous shell shop and a very popular ice cream shop, and is right opposite the gourmet Rocksalt restaurant which has an impressive reputation. A short walk gets you to the Harbour arm which has a variety of eating places and craft stalls, as well as the historic Folkestone harbour train station. The Old High Street with the its artistic shops and displays is well worth a visit, as is the Lower Sandgate Road park. And of course the Sunny Sands beach is right next door. Favourite restaurants for us were Rocksalt, Bella Vita (Spaghetti Mare was fantastic), Papa's (best fish 'n' chips ever), and Bouverie Tap pub (great meat pie). Best walks (or jogs) were harbour arm, sandy beach up to the East Cliff, lower Sandgate Road, and The Leas.
Wow! We have just spent a great weekend in Folkestone, with amazing weather, great food and drink and the cherry on the top was Tobias apartment. It was fantastic. It is in the perfect location with everything within easy walking distance. The flat had everything you would need for a stay away from home and is an amazing space. The top deck/floor is big and light and the outdoor terrace is a great space to spend time people watching and enjoying the lovely views from all around the flat. Tobias was very good at sending communication and details, which was appreciated. We would definitely recommend a stay at the flat and everything that Folkestone offers.
We enjoyed our stay in Folkestone. The apartment is clean and functional. The view is great and it was wonderful to be able to walk everywhere we wanted. A lovely sandy beach was 5min walk away and the harbour wall with street food stalls a similar distance. Wonderful to have buckets and spades for use too. We didn’t eat in the apartment much but if travelling with young kids you would need to bring suitable plastic crockery etc. The was also no coffee making facilities but a great coffee and ice cream takeaway under the apartment. It’s not a quiet area so do expect some nighttime noise. We were particularly unlucky with a 1am alarm from the restaurant opposite! Overall we loved the location for exploring and would happily stay again.
We SO enjoyed our time at Tobias’ lovely place! It was far larger than the photos looked when we booked, so everyone was pleasantly surprised when we arrived — we only noticed there was a third bathroom on our way out! Location was brilliant for walks along the beach and access to the high street, with the lovely cobblestones of our own little quiet street. Highlight was the lounge upstairs filled with cozy furniture, we loved it!
We had such a lovely visit to Folkestone and this gorgeous flat was a perfect home base for our adventures. Parking was simple in the nearby lot (£15 a day), the flat was easy to find and sparkling clean, and the views of the harbour and water were exactly what we hoped for. We’ll certainly be back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The space felt like home and was very spacious giving our family a great place to relax and recharge. It was clean, beds were extremely comfortable and in a perfect location. The apartment overlooks the harbour and our kids loved watching the tide go in and out. It is in the perfect location, walkable to restaurants, parks, shops. We absolutely loved our time here - we wish we could have stayed longer!

This is a beautiful apartment right on the harbour, it has everything you could need for a self catering stay. It is walkable to lots of cafes, bars and restaurants and it is on the English Coast Path. Fantastic views of the harbour and sea beyond and the weather was kind enough to allow us sight of a wonderful sunrise right from the kitchen window. Wonderful host and can thoroughly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Toby’s place in Folkestone. The location is absolutely fantastic for exploring the harbour area and only a short walk down to the Leas. The views from the top floor were beautiful and whilst there was some “hustle and bustle” on the street below, it still felt tranquil being in the apartment above. We’d highly recommend if you’re visiting Folkestone.

This is a unique and lovely place to stay. The accommodation is spacious and as described great for ‘people watching.’ As well as great for seeing the sea- and any ‘weather’ on the way. The old building and surrounding area is full of character and whilst the shared entrance is to be noted, it was of no concern. If you are requiring a car you would be best to arrive early or late as it can get very busy in the public car-parks, especially on sunny Bank Holidays. If like me, you are a Blue-Badge holder there are Residents parking zones near-by and around a lot of Folkestone that you might be able to utilise, but check Folkestone and Hythe District Council websites for full information. We also think this space was featured in a short-lived TV series that was based and filmed locally in 1990 - but maybe a bit of knowledge for our host to confirm? We would love to rebook if available in the future.
Excellent location, especially with a dog for nice walks at Sunny Sands beach right at the doorstep, as well as many restaurants and coffee spots along the Harbour and Steep Street! A parking lot is also close by if you have a car. Would have been a perfect spot for NYE fireworks with the big windows upstairs if only they weren't cancelled this year due to high winds..! We appreciated the small touches like dog bowls, an extra lead, and towel as well. The bed was also very comfy!
A really special place to stay right on the harbour at Folkestone. A short walk from the creative quarter and harbour arm. We particularly loved the top floor, with its views of the water and comfy recliners!

Great location and property was spacious and well appointed. The business next door also had access to the property’s entrance so it would have been nice to be able to lock the door into the property once you had entered the main door

I booked Toby's place on behalf of my parents and extended family who were visiting Folkestone. They could not have been happier with the place, it is beautiful - each bedroom has its own ensuite, and it was very comfortable/clean and in an incredible location. Had a fantastic few days here. The apartment is stunning and in such a fab location. Views are amazing! Loved just watching the world go by and the telescope in the living area was a great touch. Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Folkston and really hope to visit again ?

Really comfortable place to stay. The stand out feature is the very comfortable upstairs sitting room with amazing views of the sea. The house has a great location right near the beach with lots of places to eat nearby. We had a very relaxing stay.
