Located on a residential estate, but felt very private. We were able to enjoy the peaceful outside area due to wonderful weather. The open plan kitchen/dining area/living room was our favourite space in the house. Both bedrooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable. 10 minute work to West Norwood station and 10 minutes walk to Lidl. Would definitely recommend!
A great place to stay, with every amenity you need to feel right at home. Near to shops, parks in Streatham, and very handy for trains and buses into central London.
Good location and house as described. House manual would be useful for instructions on appliances or heating. But would stay again!
overall, we really enjoyed our stay here, where it was reasonably well connected with public transport. our host was unable to meet us at check-in time, so sent instructions on how to open the door, which still took us about ten minutes as it was an extremely difficult lock to work with. the property was lovely and spacious, and felt very clean also. we were within walking distance of a lidl and other corner shops, and the area was quiet and suburban. the space was well lit and heated, though not to excess. while we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we did have some problems, such as the thermostat being broken on the shower, whereby it was impossible to have a shower without burning yourself, and one of the shower doors was not working and so could have fallen on you if not careful. while our checkout time was agreed to be 11am on monday morning, the cleaner went to enter the property at about 10:20am, which we found somewhat disrespectful as this was contrary to what we’d agreed prior.
